Albert "Big Baby" Jacobs, III

Albert “Big Baby” Jacobs, III was born on July 18, 1941, in West Helena, Arkansas to Mr. & Mrs. Albert Jacobs, Jr & Rebecca Carter Jacobs.

Albert a.k.a. "Big Baby” worked on several jobs in his lifetime. He was employed at Sprayrite, he was a welder, iron worker, and was a tire builder at Mohawk Rubber Company. Out of all his jobs, he enjoyed construction work. He loved to build with his hands. Everything he built and talked about "in his words" was "real cute".

At an early age, he gave his life to Christ at First St. Paul Old Little Rock Road. On April 11, 2023, Albert rededicated his life to Christ reclaiming him as his personal savior.

Big Baby was preceded in death by his parents, and his oldest brother, Lee Henry (Dute) Jacobs.

Albert leaves to celebrate and cherish his memories, his loving wife, Shirl Denise Walker-Jacobs. Two daughters, Raina Crawford of Los Angles, Ca, and Jacqueline Johnson of Southaven, MS. Stepchildren, Mary & Allen Walker of West Helena, AR.  Four sisters, Katherine Thomas and Linda Bunting (Larry) of Conway, AR, Gloria Jones of Milwaukee, WI, Shirley Brown (Bridgas) of Eastpoint, MI. Two brothers, Roosevelt Jacobs of Milwaukee, WI, and Martin D Jacobs (Bridgette) of Houston, TX. Five grandchildren, Jamin, Chasity, Rickeya, Justin, and Jasmine. Step grandchild, Makayla. Thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand. He also leaves one aunt, Nina Daniels of Kenosh, WI and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
