Billy Ray Jackson JR “BJ”

 MR. BILLY RAY JACKSON JR, “BJ”, 37 yrs old, of Columbia, Missouri; formally of Augusta, AR, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at his home.

Billy Jackson Jr was born August 9, 1984 to Billy Ray Jackson Sr and Renea Jackson of Augusta, Arkansas.

Billy Jackson Jr was affectionately known as “BJ” to all who knew and loved him. 

BJ was employed with Marble and Granite in Columbia, MO until his health begin to fail.

BJ enjoyed grilling for his family and spending time with his son, Billy Jackson III. He thought he could out dance anyone! 

BJ was in the class of 2005 at Augusta High School.

BJ is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James L Jackson Sr and Ella B Paige Jackson and one sister, Cassandra Townsend.

BJ leaves to hold close to their hearts the memories shared are one son: Billy Jackson III. His parents: Billy Jackson Sr of Columbia, Missouri and his mother, Renea Jackson of Augusta, Arkansas. Three sisters of Columbia Missouri: Cindy Jackson, Ella(Glenn) Cobbins and Sharnice Green. One brother, Malala Rodgers. 

BJ was the proud uncle of two nieces; Jaslyn Mitchell and Layla Nunnely and two nephews Artist Fleming and Glenn Cobbins III and a Bonus son, Aaron Jefferson. A very special friend, Shelly Horst and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends are left with fond memories as well.
