Mr. George William Brown, “Billy” passed away on January 28, 2023, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR. George William Brown known as “Billy was born July 9, 1962, in Brinkley, Arkansas to Willie (Bill) & Rebecca Brown.
Billy was the fourth child of eight children and the only boy.
Billy was a graduate of the class of 1982 at Bradford High School. After high school, Billy went to a truck driving school. He obtain his Commercial Driver's License, which he drove as a truck driver for several years.
Billy traveled to many states driving trucks for Cox Trucking Company of Velvet Ridge. Billy loved being around family and enjoyed watching old westerns, wrestling, all different ball games, and crash derby.
Billy is preceded in death by his father Willie Brown (Big Bill), two sisters, Helen Ruth McAdams and Martha Lee Castanos. Maternal grandparents, William Thomas Newnum and Martha Elizabeth (White) Newnum. Paternal grandparents, Rev, Howard miller and Opel Miller. Brother-in-law, Roy McAdams.
Billy leaves to cherish his memories to his mother and stepfather, Rebecca “Becky” and Jerry Wayne Crain of Bradford. His two children, Phillip Brown and William Brown of Nebraska. Siblings, Melanie Ybanez,(Junior) of Bradford, Willia Jean Brown of Bradford, Letha Marie Crain (Doyle) of Bald Knob, Michelle Nicole Hunt “Shelly”(Jamie) of Bald Knob, Ethel Paulette Gilmore “Polly” of Amity (Richard of Bradford). Brother-in-law, Jose Castanos (Martha Lee Castanos). A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation: February 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Life Celebration: February 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
Both: Heavenly Rest Funeral Home in the Sgt. Jamar Avery Hicks Chapel
Interment: Carter Cemetery in Russell, Arkansas.
