Mrs. Mindy Yolanda Sequita Battles was born on July 6, 1984 in, Toccoa, GA.

Sis. Mindy was reared in a Christian family and confessed her faith in Christ at an early age.

In 2023, Sis. Mindy relocated to Austin, Arkansas

Sis. Mindy received her formal education through the Stephens County High School in 2002. She worked as a Sales Associate at Walmart for eight years.

Sis. Mindy loved spending time with her family.

She found great enjoyment in her family. Mindy loved people, little kids and being around good people.

On August 16, 2023, God sent his Angels to welcome the soul of His beloved daughter Mindy Yolanda Sequita Battles, home as she was surrounded by her loving family. 

Awaiting her arrival in Heaven are her father,  Jesse Smith; Grandfather James Teasly, & Grandmother Grace Ramsey.

Daughters: D’Shunna Battles, N’Shunna Battles, Teyler Battles, Ky’Niah Baytles, Monet Washington. Son, Tyler Battles. Mother-in-law, Rhonda Chatman. Father-Kn-Law, James Baytles (Virginia). Brother-In-Law Darryl Battles. Sister-In-Law, Dynasty Baytles, Destiny Battles, Jamoya Springs, Kyla Chatman. Grandchildren, Teyler Kelly, Martel Jr. A host of brothers & sisters on father side, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, family, neighbors and church family.
