Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., 80 of Little Rock , Arkansas, formally of Beebe, AR died on September 4, 2022 peacefully at Colonel Glenn Health & Rehab in Little Rock, AR, surrounded by his family.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., was born on February 14, 1942 in Beebe, Arkansas to Edward Lunnie and Luebertha Bone-Lunnie.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., was born into a Christian filled family and was a firm believer in Christ, Jesus. He was a member of Free Will Church of God where he served as a Associate Pastor over 12 years.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., received his education in the White County Training School system from 1949 to 1965.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., was united in Holy Matrimony to his loving bride, Dorothy Lunnie.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., worked as a Carpenter for varies year and varies areas.
Reverend enjoyed cooking, family times, teaching and preaching the word of God.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., was called from his earthly labor at his bedside on September 4, 2022, and he transitioned to his Heavenly home. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife. One son: Tony Lunnie, Three brothers: James E. Lunnie, Lucious Lunnie and Isaac L. Lunnie. Six sisters: Gertude Lunnie, Lillian Lunnie, Booker Lee Hart, Mrylene Turner, Bertha M. McGee, and Ruby M. Robinson.
Reverend Rell Lonnie, Sr., leaves his precious memories to his children, two sons: Glenn Lunnie, and Rell Lunnie, Jr (Shearee). One daughter: Tammie Lunnie (Allen). Brothers: Robert Lunnie and Leo Lunnie. Sisters: Oleta Offord, Minister Earnestine Barron, and Maela Welch. 4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
