SSgt. Bobby Eugene Chatman, Sr., of Searcy, AR passed peacefully on October 14, 2022 at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
Bobby Eugene Chatman SR, 66 of Searcy, Ark., departed this life Oct 14, 2022. He is preceded in death by parents Lester (Buddy) Walker and Liddie Chatman.
Bobby Eugene Chatman SR, was reared in a Christian family and confessed his faith in Christ at an early age at Bethlehem Baptist Church of Searcy, Arkansas.
Bobby Eugene Chatman SR, received his formal education through the Searcy School System and was a 1973 graduate of Searcy High School. After High School Bobby enlisted into the United States Air force, there he would fulfill his career as an Staff Sergeant until his retirement.
SSgt. Bobby Eugene Chatman SR, was a caring and possessed a loving personality so much that he never met a stranger. He was calm, outgoing, quiet, laid back. He enjoyed watching sports. He was one of the biggest Dallas Cowboy fan. He also enjoy tennis, especially watching Serena Williams. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends. Over all he loved to help people.
SSgt Bobby Eugene Chatman SR, married Lorraine Baker and three children were born.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Children, Bobby Jr, Triston, and Iesha Chatman: Siblings, Jesse (Lillie) Chatman, Marshall Chatman, Lydia Baccus, James Chatman, three grandchildren, Special Aunts Linda Freeman & Martha Greene. Special friend of 20 plus years Dorothy Bailey, a host of Family and Friends. The viewing will be held 10AM -11AM and the Funeral services will be held at 11AM both on Monday morning, October 24, 2022 at Heavenly Rest Funeral Home in the Sgt.
