Mrs. Stacey Denise Johnson Washington was born on April 4, 1970 in Little Rock AR. Stacey was blessed to be raised in a Christian home by Rev. W. G. Young and Jerlene. She also had a bonus dad (Willie Prowell) whom she loved and adored. Stacey accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the Mt. Moriah M.B. Church. She later became a member of St. Luke Baptist Church. Where she was a faithful member. She is a 1988 graduate of Marvell Public School and later became a graduate of University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. After graduating from University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, she received her masters from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She then became employed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services: Division of Children and Family Services. Where she worked her way up to became an Area 10 Investigator Supervisor North for 5 counties. Stacy loved her job most of all she loved serving the children. Stacey married Rondell Washington the love of her life on June 27, 2015. They were able to make so many memories together that will forever live on in his heart. She had one son Courtney Toombs. They had a mother son bond like none other. Outside of being a relative, a friend, or a co-worker, Stacey is a light that will continue to shine in all of our hearts. If you really knew Stacey she would say “Don’t weep for me. Just get your life together with God so you can met me on the other side.” Stacey’s memories will be cherished by her husband Rondell Washington, Parents Jerlene Prowell of Marvell, AR, Joseph (Rosina) Graves of Kansas City, Mo, Child: Courtney Toombs of Jacksonville, Ar, Siblings: Patricia Nathan of Nashville, TN, Lavonia (Rennie) Branch of Kansas City, Mo, Nethesia Williams, Shelly Smith, Joesph Williams, Stephan Brown, all of Kansas City, MO, Chance McLin (deceased), Bonus sisters: Queen (Michael) Robinson, Eva (Maurice) Woods of Little Rock, AR, Barbara Prowell, Desoto, TX and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and loving friends.
Visitation will be held December 18, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Celebration of Life will be held December 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
